This competition entry for one of the UK’s largest print industry events came second place after a nationwide public vote on social media. Inspired by the artist Robert Beatty, I illustrated a design to demonstrate the evolution of 2D printing into 3D printing. The ink drips off the 3D cube in a surreal visual. This piece has a lot of energy and vibrancy to attract the audience to the event. The hand line drawing was scanned and edited digitally using Photoshop with the composition of the typography added on InDesign.
