The president of the students’ union initiated this campaign to promote positivity in all body forms. I made use of lighting equipment to create stark contrasts, giving the photos an abstract and striking look. We aimed to advocate body positivity in the context of stretch marks, scars, disability, perceptions of femininity and cultural diversity. 

 

I crafted copywrited quotes that were powerful and direct. I edited the photographs myself to emphasise the extreme lighting, but I left bodies in their natural form.
